• Information can be shared with a building owner or property manager for the purpose of ensuring that the building systems are operating correctly.
• Operating data or photographs of the equipment may be collected for the purposes of staff training or marketing.
Client personal information is used solely for the purpose it was collected. If it is to be used or disclosed for a reason other than which it was originally collected, the company first obtains the express consent of the person as required by law.

Baxtec Mechanical Services Inc. does not share this personal information with other clients or third parties except as indicated in the previous section.
Consent
Baxtec Mechanical Services Inc. obtains consent from individuals to collect, use, and disclose personal information where required by law. The way consent is obtained varies depending on the circumstances and the type of personal information collected. The company retains personal information only for the duration it is needed. Once personal information is no longer required, it is destroyed promptly, safely, and securely. Where law requires that personal information be kept for a specified amount of time, the company complies with the applicable legislation.
Access to and Amending Personal Information
Clients may request access to their personal information held by the company. Written requests may be submitted to Baxtec Privacy Officer at 2470 Don Reid Drive Ottawa ON K1H 1E1. A fee may be charged to access this information. The company responds to all requests for access within 30 days. If the company denies a request for access to personal information, the company explains the reason for the refusal.
If an individual finds errors in their personal information, they may submit a request to have the company make any necessary corrections. The company updates any incorrect information as required and ensure the information is also updated by applicable third parties.
