Firm History
Baxtec Mechanical Services was formed in 1983 by Andy Csiffary. A heating and air conditioning technician for over 20 years at the time, his strategy was to deliver high quality HVAC services to his customers. The business grew from 3 employees to over 20 employees building a solid reputation along the way. In 2000, Mark Csiffary P.Eng. joined the business. Mark is a mechanical engineer and spent 6 years working for Kraft Foods in Montreal, Cobourg, and Niagara Falls. Under Mark’s leadership the company has continued to expand to employ over 50 members of our local community. In 2008, Baxtec added Plumbing Services and in 2009 Sheet Metal Services.
